In occasion of Kamo's exhibition I'd rather take a screnshoot... at the SOS Gallery in Rotterdam, DIWO hosted a new iteration of Smartphone Camera Obscura, the famous prompt that explores digital interfaces as a landscape!
Using the overhead projector available at the exhibition space, we offered some context around our ideas of post-digital landscape. In our presentation, we highlighted the connections between the composition of urban landscapes in renaissance painting, and the wireframe UI of contemporary digital platforms. It seems to us that both these techniques imply a particular worldview, and frame space from their ideal perspective.
